In celebration of Ireland's 100 year anniversary, The Kennedy Center will be hosting an array of musical and cultural events, and naturally some culinary ones too. From May 17 through June 5 the Center's KC Cafe will feature Irish cuisine, along with several food events detailed below.
May 25, 6 PM - Chef Cathal Armstrong of Restaurant Eve in Alexandria will host a cooking demonstration on the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage to showcase dishes that combine his Irish roots and French training with American Cuisine. Free.
May 26, 7:30 PM - Whiskey Tasting Hosted by Tullamore DEW Irish Whiskey and Kerrygold, with Tullamore DEW Ambassador Tim Herlihy. Tickets: $49
May 31, 7:30 PM - Beer & Cheese Tasting Hosted by Diegeo-Guinness and Kerrygold Cheese with Guinness Brewery Ambassador Dan Fontaine who will be discussing the expanding role that beer plays in America's culinary environment and pairing beer with food. Tickets: $49
